With the escalation of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak in the UK and the government announcement a few days ago, we wanted to keep you informed of the steps we are putting in place across Cartec UK to ensure we are able to maintain a normal service to our customers, whilst protecting our colleagues and following the government guidelines to minimise the further spread of the virus.
The safety and wellbeing of both our customers and our colleagues is our number one priority and based on the latest Public Health England guidelines we’ve put enhanced health and hygiene measures in place.
Our trade counter is unfortunately now closed until further notice, however we are still open and processing online orders!
We have already put into place extensive extra precautions with regards to sanitising all surfaces, equipment and ensuring our staff are rigorously hand washing and practicing the highest of personal hygiene.
We already have robust Continuity of Supply plans in place and we maintain good stock levels of fast selling products at Cartec UK so, unless the situation becomes prolonged, we are confident in our ability to supply.
Whilst the situation continues to develop and the scale of disruption remains uncertain, we will endeavour to offer our usual service to all customers and we hope the measures we have put in place will allow us to continue to trade as normally as possible during this difficult period. We are remaining close to Public Health England’s latest advice so we can prepare for any further developments and should the situation change we will update as soon as possible.
